The T/EL 8 and T/EL 8M offers tool-room operators all the comprehensive features of an advanced two-axis CNC lathe with superior maximum turning dimensions of 550mm length and 360mm diameter.
The Tornado T and EL 8M extends the versatility of the Tornado T and EL8 lathe into a three-axis configuration, featuring full C-axis capability combined with spindle disc brake and an all driven 12-station tooling turret.
These features make radial and axial milling, drilling, boring and tapping simplicity itself.
The Tornado T and EL8 also includes a state of the art Fanuc OiTD control, with the T series being further enhanced with Colchester’s uniquely customised Manual Guide i, to enable quick set-up and efficient short runs.
