The Big Stone semi automatic column type bandsaws operate with the use of a full stroke hydraulic vise cylinder. It has a split vise which holds the workpiece on both sides of the saw blade. The use of hydraulic vise cylinder also creates hydraulic blade tensions and infinitely variable blade speeds.
